Just a super quick update with the information for this weeks Twitch Stream!

This Sunday (April 10th) between 4 PM - 6 PM Kyoto Japan time, I will be Twitch streaming the requested game: Panzermadels - A Tank Dating Simulator!

Why hello there Quantumers, it’s been a while! :P I know deep down that you’ve missed me, don’t lie… I’ve missed you guys too. 

 Many Information, such Quantumers, Much Wow. 

 Now, on to serious business: 

 1. MOLTENCHERRY’S IN JAPAN! 

 As many of you may already know, I recently moved to Japan. I am still friendless, but I’m hoping that will change soon… I’ve filled my apartment with video games and candy, so it’s only a matter of time before I make friends… or get arrested… Either way, someone will have to come over eventually. :P Here are a few photos of the new CCCN Japanese Headquarters. And yes, just like our Australian HQ, the walls are made of gingerbread and cyanide. 

 2. TWITCH FEED/STREAM!

 Sunday the 10th of April will be my first Twitch stream since the Kickstarter ended. I’m sorry it wasn’t sooner, who’da thought finishing a Kickstarter project and changing countries could be so time-consuming? Am I right girlfriends? *high-fives imaginary friends* As of right now, it is tentatively planned for the afternoon/evening of April 10th. I will release another update before then to confirm the exact time, but it should take place around 4 PM Japan time… which is one hour behind Brisbane time… As I said, I will get back to you with exact details as we approach the date of the stream! 

 3. A COMIC FOR THE AGES! 

 Quantumer Chris (Wilko_rage142 on Twitter) has created a new comic series that is just… out of this world… Mwahahahahaha… *Ahem*… I have the first installment to share with you, and I hope that you are as excited as I am to see where it goes… 

4. FANFIC FANFIC FANFIC!

Quantumer Falcarius has been at it again! Please enjoy his newest Fanfic!

Katashi Ikari waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were aliens on the ship. He didn’t see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Capten Kimiko were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.

Katashi was an agricultural engineer for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad “I want to be on the ships daddy.”

Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY ALIENS”

There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got older he stopped. But now in the kitchen of the Everett he knew there were aliens.

“This is Kimiko” the radio crackered. “You must fight the aliens!”

So Katashi gotted his pottato launcher and blew up the wall.

“HE GOING TO KILL US” said the aliens

“I will spit at him” said the queen alien and she spat the acid blood. 

Katashi potatoed at her and tried to blew her up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.

“No! I must kill the aliens” he shouted The radio said 

“No, Katashi. You are the aliens”

And then Katashi was a zombie.

5. INTRODUCING ELISABETH! 

 One of the reward tiers allowed you to include yourself or a character of your own design (provided they be original creations) as a member of the Everett’s crew in Quantum Suicide. Let’s have a look at our first new character~ 

Character Name: Elisabeth Kristine Weismann 

 Gender: Female Age: Early 20s 

 Occupation: Computer programmer 

 Physical Characteristics: Slightly smaller frame for a person her age, heterochromatic eyes (blue and green). Has long black hair that reaches to her waist. 

 Personality: Very cold to people if they are uninterested in her or she considers them to be among her inner circle, but extremely devoted to people who consider her to be part of their inner circle. Extremely calculating and sometimes a little too logical. When faced with betrayal, she can become extremely fragile and emotionally volatile. 

 Note: Weaker at sports, but extremely talented in math and logic. Plays violin. 

I’m excited for colour sketches, and I hope you all are too! There are still 5 more characters coming, so please look forward to them! 

 6. DISCORD SERVER? LET’S ALL HANG OUT! 

 Anna has been a good little Quantumer and put together a place where we can all hang out. This place is called Discord. It’s a live chat thingy that also allows you to voice chat and play games at the same time…

It’s nice to have somewhere we can just go to enjoy each other’s company,… or even ask the friendly chat bots questions. Good times. 

 6. POSTAGE FOR COLLECTOR’S EDITIONS 

 I’ve been asked this question a lot, so I just want to make sure I let everyone know! If you backed the project at the Collector’s Edition Tier, which includes a physical copy of the game and the poster set, please count this as only one item when calculating your postage amount. 

If you have no other item to post but that, internationally it is $15. If you add one t-shirt, it would then be $22.50 internationally. I hope this makes sense~ 

 7. THE TEGMARK. 

 The Tegmark was the first ship sent out by humanity on an intergenerational mission to Gliese 832 c, an Earth-like planet capable of sustaining human life (the exact same mission as the Everett). Due to unknown circumstances, however, the Tegmark was unable to reach its destination. 

 Near the end of their voyage, the Tegmark’s crew became aware that they only had a week left to live. Although the cause of their demise has yet to be finalised, it was nothing like the DAI situation, nothing sinister, and it won’t impact The Everett itself. 

The Tegmark Crew were about seven years into their mission when they met their untimely end. During their final days, crew members were given the opportunity to send final messages back to Earth. Communication wasn’t instantaneous, resulting in a significant delay between transmission and receipt of messages. 

 You essentially have two options for your message: a message home after being told your fate–or–a random transmission home that has been recorded and put into the databanks. If you have an idea for something different, feel free to run it by me… I hope that this is enough information for you all to work with, if you have any more questions, please let me know and I will try my best to answer them for you! 

Here is a working model of The Tegmark. Wasn't your home nice? (too soon?)

"I wanted to try something different for this craft. I decided to combine two classic spaceship designs; the streamlined rocket and the ring-shaped space station. The rocket portion is based on actual science, as well. The pion rocket is a possibility of near-future interstellar travel, utilising antimatter to propel the ship through space. The outer-ring portion I imagine to contain a massive greenhouse to supply the crew with oxygen, as well as a relaxing environment. The inner-ring is the crew quarters, and is about the size of an apartment complex. The front of the ship is an observation deck and a mission-control centre." - Shoji.

 8. BACKERKIT UPDATES!

 I clearly have the greatest Backers in the world! Out of the 1,092 Quantumers who received their surveys from BackerKit, 858 have already answered them! That’s an amazing amount! Now we only need to get the remaining 234 on board~ Remember: If you haven’t received a survey yet, please contact me! Once again, here is my informative chart explaining which action to take: 

 9. PROJECT TOTALS TO DATE! 

 After we had a fair number of pledges dropped (many sad faces) here are our totals to date: 

 Kickstarter: $45,833.84 

PayPal: $4,204 

BackerKit: $3,900 

 Total: $53,937.84 

 Amount until VA stretch goal: $16,062.16 We are still killing it though! We may still be a bit of a ways off from the VA goal but it’s still achievable! I am working hard to convert everyday people into Quantumers!

Hello Dearest Quantumers...

So the moment we have all been waiting...

THE BACKERKIT SURVEYS!

I haven't experienced this much pain since I thought I could close my eyes on a moving treadmill successfully (by the way, I can't) but we made it...THE SURVEYS HAVE BEEN SENT! So, Now what? Well, I made you this super helpful chart~

 As it says, If you have any problems please contact me and I will get on it! There is nothing I enjoy more than problem solving and bashing my head against the keyboard...no but really, just either contact me through KickStarter messages, or email me directly at cottoncandycyanide(at)gmail.com 

Now, there is one case that I know you will need to contact BackerKit directly...

*sigh* I fought the good fight, but unfortunately, they would not sway. 

IF you would like to pay using PayPal (if you would like to add more add-ons etc) please go through the survey as per usual, however, at the payment screen, you will need to stop and contact BackerKit. They will send you a personal link that is just for you to pay using Paypal. I asked to have this set up to be automated as a choice of payment, *grits teeth while smiling* but they don't allow that, so I am super sorry and hope that you all are OK doing the extra step. I am super sorry to be troublesome T.T

It is with sadness that I announce that Nyx has left the project. Now, I know what you are thinking, we clearly took the EYE OF THE TIGER idea to heart and I have  murdered her, but that isn't the case at all. Nyx has been offered some wonderful opportunities that she would be crazy to give up and so her focus has shifted. 

Are we still best friends? Pfft, of course!

Will I still bother her for editing and chibis? You remember the 'bakerkit incident', of course I will be! 

Will this change anything? Project wise - NO, MoltenCherry super vocal and happy for her friend but quietly sad to be alone at the same time - Of course. 

I hope that you can all support her decision as I have. I wish her all the best in the future and will work double as hard to bring you the best VN EVER!

Bloody Chronicles!

"Bloody Chronicles is a visual novel and Igrasil Studio’s first project. The plot focuses on Kazuki, who has lost his parents in an accident. After graduating from the police academy, he was recruited by Igrasil, a non-governmental organization which solves murders the police deem are impossible to explain due to lack of evidence. Kazuki’s partners include the crazy and funny Ishikawa siblings, Kaoru Moriyama (the daughter of a millionaire and founder of the organization), and Suzumi, the head of the organization."

Mmmmmm blood, now they are speaking my language *stokes my evil looking cat on my lap*...to be honest though they had me a dead parents :P *mwhahhahahahaha*

They have about 37 days left on their Kickstarter and are about 25-30% funded. It is a first project for the team over at Igrasil Studio but they are nice and send me cute anime girls on Twitter, so I am sold! (I'm pretty easy to please). If you can check them out at their Kickstarter ~

Alrighty Quantumers! After your large amount of help, suggestions from other devs, and a wrestle with the 'Backer Kit' that could only be described as utterly off putting to all, I have emerged with a new system!

Allow me to present to you~ 

Quantum Suicide - The Postage Simulator.

 Alrighty - SO I have removed all shipping costs from all items and tiers, and have decided to leave it up to you to add on which shipping you need! Now Louis, I know you want my life to be difficult, so, I am happy to announce that I will be going through each individual order to double check whether or not the correct postage has been applied!

This way - Everyone pays the same postage they did originally, future MoltenCherry may not have to sell one of her kidneys in a years time to cover the shipping costs, and everyone gets what they want! 

Now, I know that it may seem unfair that Australians and New Zealanders get slightly cheaper postage... and you can too if you move here :P It is amazing that this many of us have lived this long. But seriously though, we have slower internet speeds than Romania ...give us this one thing :P

If you are unsure about your postage, just message me through Kickstarter or even directly email me and I will help you! 

Now onto another Backer Kit Issue!

FAILURE TO PAY THROUGH KICKSTARTER!

For those of you who's payments failed, I have good news! Backer Kit will be importing you into Backer Kit still with your chosen pledged tier (good news for both of us when it comes to limited tiers) and will simply ask you to pay then! Here it is as a quote from the email I have!

"The failed backers will still be imported into BackerKit and their pledges reduced to $0. If they still want to pledge they’ll be able to re-add funds in BackerKit. This is a fully automated process so there’s nothing you need to worry about."

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! *sigh of relief* Who would have thought that there is more work involved after the KickStarter campaign than during (Taking out making a game of course).

Some simply wanted to move on, while others thirsted for revenge. Meanwhile, their counterparts in the alternate universe were screaming to be let loose. Alice must pick a side, and she only prayed her decision would not anger her alter ego."

How do I personally feel about the project..well..I guess, Visual Novel and Escape room elements...hmmm....

 Ahhh Quantumers...that is all I have in the news front right now! I am working on setting up my Twitch channel and will hopefully have a rough schedule for you shortly. Good Evening Quantumers~

So, a few items to address! 1st Backer Kit, 2nd Fan comps and lastly beautiful beautiful pictures for my dearest Quantumers. 

BACKER KIT!

Ok, so there has been a hold up with Backer Kit. It appears that they do not allow me to combine postage to make things cheaper when you buy more than one. So, this is slightly problematic but here is the solution...

Items that required $15 postage, have now become $7.50 - this way if you do buy more than one item, you still get the same advantage of cheaper postage...the problem with this is that $7.50 is not enough to cover postage if a Quantumer is only purchasing one item. This kind-a sucks, but I am not about to charge $15 each time you buy an item. So, this is all future MoltenCherry's problem and we all know we don't like her anyway *winks at Louis*.

(P.S - AI glamour shots and danglies are now $5 each to post T.T I hope this is OK - If you are buying a full set of danglies, just buy 3 and add the rest to the bill as excess, let me know and I will record it and send all of them out for the $15 postage)

Argh, what a nightmare. Now that this has hopefully been resolved *awaiting response from Backer Kit* we can move forward and get these surveys out soon!

This was suuuuuuchhh a hard decision! With so many great entries, and many sleepless nights, I have finally come to a winner in each division. I truly do love them all and hope that this doesn't discourage anyone from continuing their great work!
